In my dream, Dad and I were perusing a U.S. population
density map, discussing one of his favorite concerns, overpopulation.
“Wow, Dad, look at this! Tiny littleRhode Island has over a thousand people per
square mile.”
“Is that right? Hmm. Imagine waking up in the morning, turning over and greeting your neighbor?” I woke up laughing.
Dad left this planet in 1996, but he is never further away from me than the memories tucked safely in my heart.
The memories of all those I've loved and lost are a healing balm to my soul.
All is well in my world.
